To celebrate their five year anniversary the debate club will hold a formal debate March 9 from 12 to 12:50 p.m. at Center Stage Theater in the Whipple building. Both sides of the National Defense Authorization Act will be the main topic.

Douglas County fairgrounds will soon be hosting the 2012 Earth Day and Energy fair. The fair begins April 12, 2012. Applications for booth admissions are currently being accepted. A buy-one-get-one offer on ski lift tickets is available at Shell fuel stations in Roseburg. To qualify for the deal, at least ten gallons of fuel must be purchased. The lift tickets are valid for Willamette Pass, Hoodoo, Mt. Ashland, Ski Bowl, Mt Hood Meadows, Timberline and Anthony Lakes. The offer is valid from Jan.2 to April 16.

UCC will host a Voter Education Fair Wednesday, March 7. There will be two opportunities to take part in the fair activities: in the campus lobby from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. and in campus center dining room at 7 p.m.

Movie Night will be held in the campus center March 10, 2012 from 11 p.m. to 3 p.m. featuring the Lion King. Children and families are welcome. Admission for the event is some non-perishable food or school supplies.
